Project:
McCafé Cup Redesign
Client:
McDonald's
Agency:
TMS
While working as a designer at a London agency, I was part of a small team tasked with redesigning the McCafé cup for the UK market. We began by exploring previous iterations of the cup, then developed more than 140 initial concept sketches. I contributed a range of design ideas, several of which progressed into mock-ups to test how they would appear in real use. The process involved refining textures, layouts, and branding elements until we arrived at a final design.
Due to late-stage changes, the textured finish was replaced with a smoother look, striking a balance between creativity and practicality. This project deepened my experience in brand-led product design and the realities of working on fast-moving, high-profile briefs.
